COERR Kanchanaburi joined the Ceremony to mark His Majesty King Vajira Klao Chao Yu Hua’s birthday at Ban Don Yang Shelter for Displaced Persons in Kanchanaburi Province on July 26, 2019 and at Ban Tham Hin Shelter for Displaced Persons in Ratchaburi Province on July 29, 2019.

   The Tree Planting Ceremony to celebrate HM King’s birthday were organized at Ban Don Yang shelter on 26 July and Ban Tham Hin shelter on 29 July, respectively.

   In July, Pastoral Program for the Displaced persons in Ban Don Yang and Ban Tham Hin Shelters have continued. Mass was regularly cerebrated by Priest.Visit to other Churches to share and learn about religious ceremonies together were held.

   Support the Peace Committee and volunteers in their visit to the bedridden elderly and vulnerable in hospital or at home, continued. During the visits the committee and volunteers provided the Vulnerables with some nutritious food or drinks,.

   In July there were 30 volunteers of 20 female and 10 males in Ban Don Yang and 47 of 26 female and 21 male in Ban Tham Hin, participated in the monitoring visit activities.

    Sunday School class taught by catechists and volunteers continued, with the cordination of youth leaders to ensure the activitiy run smoothly. There were 24 chidren and youth of 16 female and 8 male in Ban Don Yang and 36 youth of 16 female and 20 male in Ban Tham Hin attending Sunday School classes which included prayer, confession, holy mass and religious beliefs.

   After class, children and youth usually gathered to pay a visit to the sick elderly and vulnerable persons and pray and sing for their recovery.
